On the occasion of World Disability Day, Skills and Ability School in association with Modern Diagnostics conducted a free basic health camp for the students and staff.
The purpose of the camp was to enable the children to get tested in the School where the child will receive the support and help of School staff and specially experienced pathological staff who can handle the children with varying disabilities and help them to relax. In many cases, parents find it difficult to conduct blood tests as the child may not co-operate or permit the pathological staff to draw blood for tests.
It is also important to create awareness about the importance of regular blood check-ups and their relevance in the child’s overall health and prognosis.
